The other consideration is the getting-ready hour, which almost always happens in a room chosen for privacy rather than for light.
Opening every curtain in that room before we arrive costs nothing and improves that entire part of the coverage.

Is the studio affected by any of this?
Not at all. Controlled light is identical whatever the day, which is why matched sets and catalogues belong there.
