Why these are always urgent
Commercial work in a startup-heavy area arrives with a deadline attached and very little room either side of it.
A website goes live, a funding announcement lands, a careers page is overdue — and photography turns out to be the one item on the list that cannot be done overnight by someone internal. It gets discovered late, and by then the date is immovable.
What actually helps is a short call before the shoot about what the images are for. Website hero, careers page, investor deck and press release all want different things from the same office and the same people, and shooting one brief well beats shooting four badly.
The other thing that helps is knowing which parts of your space are usable. Half an hour walking the office beforehand — which meeting room has the good light, which wall is chaos by mid-afternoon — saves more time on the day than any amount of planning by email.
Photography is almost always the last item discovered on a launch plan, and by then the date is fixed. That is not a criticism of anyone — it is simply the pattern, and the useful response is to establish early whether the date is achievable rather than discovering it is not.
Being told the deadline first also lets us tell you honestly if it is not. A declined booking with three weeks' notice is a manageable problem; a missed one with three days is not.
Establishing the deadline first is not a formality. Launch dates here are usually fixed months in advance and photography is discovered late, so knowing whether it is achievable matters more than discussing anything else.
A short pre-visit changes the shoot day more than any amount of planning by message. Which room has usable light and which wall is chaos by mid-afternoon are not things anyone writes down.
And be specific about the end use. Website hero, careers page, investor deck and press release want different things from the same office and the same people.
Getting ready
Name a point of contact who will be available on the day. Most delays come from a decision needing someone who is in a meeting.
Tidy only what will be in shot. A whole-office clean is wasted; the two corners we actually photograph matter enormously.
Brief anyone being photographed. People who know it is happening turn up dressed for it, and people who do not are visibly the ones who did not know.
Planning it
The deadline, before anything else. We would rather decline a date than accept one and miss it.
What the images are for, because website, recruitment, deck and press each want different things from the same office.
And whether we can see the space beforehand. Half an hour walking it saves more time on the day than any amount of email.

Either, and often both. Workspace and team photographs have to happen where you are; controlled setups are usually better here.
Yes, and for anything involving your premises we recommend it. It is a short visit that makes the shoot day considerably shorter.
Less if we plan it. Tell us which areas are busy when, and we will build the running order around your day.
Kharadi and its business parks, plus Viman Nagar, Nagar Road, Wadgaon Sheri, Keshav Nagar, Yerawada and Magarpatta. We shoot commercial work across Pune, but a same-week visit is far easier in this stretch.

Yes, and it mostly depends on giving people something real to do. Posed photographs of people pretending to work are visible from a long way off.
Yes, and they want a specific time of day. Mention them at booking so the schedule accounts for it.
Tell us the intended use at the outset. Usage affects what we shoot as much as what you receive.
Yes, and booking them together helps. A consistent look across event and workspace images makes a website read as one piece.
Yes, though permissions vary. Check with the operator and we will work to whatever they allow.
Yes. Small teams are straightforward and usually quicker than a large group.
Tell us that first. It decides whether we are the right people for this one.
