Selling to people you know

A business whose customers are neighbours is judged differently from one selling to strangers.

Goodwill gets it started and appearance decides whether it grows past that, which puts a specific weight on how the products look.

Photographs taken on a phone in a spare room are forgiven by people who know you and are not forgiven by anybody else.

That is the practical reason to get a proper set made earlier than seems necessary: the moment the business needs customers beyond the immediate circle, the phone images stop working.

What is needed is not elaborate. Consistent background, consistent light, and a set where every image matches the others.
