It never all arrives together

Waiting until the whole range is in stock is how a catalogue never gets photographed.

Something is always out of stock, in transit, or held up, and a business waiting for a complete set waits indefinitely.

The practical answer is to photograph what is here, with a setup recorded well enough that the next batch matches.

That requires deciding at the first session that there will be a second, and keeping the arrangement rather than improvising it.

Background, distance, angle and lighting all have to be repeatable, which is straightforward when planned and impossible to reconstruct afterwards.

Done that way a catalogue grows evenly. Done the other way it becomes two visibly different sets that have to be reconciled later.
