The second wedding in the family
They know which parts overran, which relatives had to be chased for photographs, and which hour of the day nobody remembers because everyone was eating.
That experience is worth more than any amount of planning advice, and it usually produces one specific instruction rather than a general brief.
The most common one is about the group photographs. At a first wedding they get left until the end and half the list has gone home; at the second they are scheduled.
The second most common is about the quiet hour before anything starts, which almost nobody covers at a first wedding and almost everybody wants afterwards.
So the useful conversation is short and specific. What would you do differently, and what did you wish somebody had photographed.
Families on their second wedding also tend to know which relatives need to be actively found rather than waited for.
There are usually two or three people who will not put themselves in front of a camera and whose absence from the album is noticed immediately afterwards.
Name them beforehand and they get photographed. It is a thirty-second conversation that prevents the most common regret there is.
Families organising a second wedding also tend to underestimate how much the first one has shaped their expectations.
The album from that wedding is the reference everyone in the family is quietly comparing against, whether or not anyone says so.
It is worth putting that on the table at booking rather than discovering it at delivery, and showing us that album is the quickest way to do it.
Getting ready
Tell us what you would change from the last wedding in the family. It is usually one or two things and both are actionable.
Send the group photograph list early. It is the part that fails at almost every first wedding.
Confirm the finish time and access, so the schedule is built on facts rather than assumptions.
Planning it

How the session itself works is covered in full on the main wedding photography page.
Then tell us what you would change. That is the best brief we can get.
The usual failure. Send the list and they get scheduled rather than attempted at the end.
Yes, and it is the part most people wish they had covered.
Tingre Nagar, Dhanori, Vishrantwadi, Kalas, Lohegaon, Viman Nagar and Yerawada.
Yes, across Maharashtra and for destination weddings.
Yes. Tell us which.
For larger weddings often yes.
Tell us if you have booked with us before and we will pull up what was done, so the new work builds on it rather than repeating it.
Yes, and it is usually easier. Tell us what is coming up over the next year and we will plan it together rather than piecemeal.
Then describe what you did not like about something you have seen. It is a faster route to the right answer than trying to specify it from scratch.
You get an online gallery you can share, and tell us if prints or an album are wanted.
That is the intention and it is most of the reason people come back. Tell us at booking that you have used us before.
No. Tell us you have booked before and we will work from what was done rather than starting from scratch.
Earlier is better for anything tied to a date. For everything else, ask and we will tell you honestly what is open.
One or two sentences. It is worth more than a long brief.
