When to book
The curled, deeply-asleep look comes from the first two to three weeks. Most families book during pregnancy and hold a window rather than a date, because babies do not arrive to schedule.
Our studio is in Wadgaon Sheri, the next locality across from Viman Nagar — which is the whole point when you are booking a session for a two-week-old. Calm, unhurried, paced around your baby, and close enough that getting there is not the hard part of your day.
Why the drive matters
Families rarely stop at the newborn shoot. Maternity comes before it, then the sitting-up months, then a cake smash, then the first birthday — five trips to the same studio inside about eighteen months.
Each one lands on a day that is already complicated. A feed runs late, a nap collapses, an outfit gets ruined ten minutes before you leave. Crossing Pune for that is a different proposition from crossing one locality, and it is the reason so many of the families we photograph come from Viman Nagar, Kharadi and Kalyani Nagar rather than from further west.
The other half of it is simple continuity. The same photographer through the whole stretch means you are not re-explaining what you want every few months, and the photographs actually sit together as a set when you look back at them.
The session itself
Timing, supported posing, feeds and settling, siblings, what to bring — all of it is covered in full on our main newborn page rather than summarised twice.

Every pose is supported. A parent or one of us stays within reach throughout, and nothing is balanced or left unattended for the sake of a photograph.
Most of a newborn session is feeding, changing and settling. That is the design, not a delay — we work to your baby rather than to a clock.

The practical questions parents on this side of Pune actually ask. Everything about the session itself is answered on the main newborn page.
Wadgaon Sheri borders Viman Nagar, so it is a short drive rather than a trip across Pune — which matters more than it sounds when the passenger is two weeks old. Time it just after a feed if you can. If the drive does not go to plan, it genuinely does not matter: we pace the session around your baby, not a clock.
Yes, and being nearby is the reason it is worth doing. Plenty of parents visit while still pregnant, see the space and the warmth, and book knowing exactly where they will be driving to with a newborn. Call or message and we will find a time.
Yes — maternity, baby shower, newborn, milestone sittings, cake smash and the first birthday are all photographed here. Most families we work with come back four or five times across the first eighteen months, which is the practical argument for choosing a studio close to home rather than one across the city.
Viman Nagar, Wadgaon Sheri, Chandan Nagar, Kharadi, Kalyani Nagar, Lohegaon, Dhanori, Yerawada, Tingre Nagar and Vishrantwadi are all close by. We take newborn bookings from across Pune too — these are simply the areas for which the drive is easiest.
Newborn sessions run at the studio because warmth and light stay consistent there, which is what keeps a baby asleep and comfortable. If that does not work for your family, talk to us rather than assuming — tell us what you need and we will tell you straight away what is possible.
We hold an approximate window rather than a fixed day, because newborns do not arrive to schedule. Message us as soon as you have a date and we will pencil you in.
