Haldi, Mehendi & Sangeet Photography in Wagholi, Pune

Haldi, mehendi and sangeet coverage in Wagholi — three functions, and a decision about how they are delivered.

One set or three

Three functions can be delivered as one body of work or as three separate sets.

Nobody usually asks, and the answer changes how the material is edited as well as how it arrives.

As one set, the three days are edited together and balanced against each other, and the result reads as a week.

As three, each is edited to stand alone, which means more repetition across them and a less coherent whole.

Most families want the first and receive the second by default, simply because the functions were booked separately in their heads.

It is worth saying which you want at booking, and it costs nothing either way.

The timeline depends on the size of the functions and is confirmed with you in writing when you book.

It is worth knowing that these three functions have very different yields.

A haldi is short and intense and produces a high proportion of usable frames. A mehendi runs for hours and produces comparatively few, because most of it is waiting.

That is not a difference in effort and it surprises families who expect the longest function to produce the largest set.

Knowing it in advance prevents the most common misunderstanding about these three days.

It is also why weighting the coverage matters more here than the total hours booked.

Hours at a mehendi and hours at a haldi are not the same purchase.

Getting ready

Deciding how it arrives

Say whether you want these delivered as one body of work or as three separate sets. It changes the edit, not just the packaging.

Send the sangeet running order as soon as it exists.

For haldi, tell guests to wear something they do not mind ruining.

Do we get three galleries or one?

Whichever you ask for. As one set they are edited together and read as a week; as three they repeat more and cohere less.

Which do most families want?

The first, and they usually receive the second by default because the functions were booked separately in their heads.

When will we receive them?

It depends on the size of the functions and it is confirmed with you in writing when you book.

Which areas do you cover?

Wagholi, Kharadi, Lohegaon, Keshav Nagar, Mundhwa, Viman Nagar and Wadgaon Sheri.

Can you cover all three?

Yes, and as one block rather than three bookings.

Do you photograph the mehendi design?

Yes, and it is worth a few minutes once finished.

Is your equipment safe at a haldi?

It is planned for. Getting close is the job.

Can we ask for more of something after delivery?

Yes, and it is a normal request rather than a complaint. Ask soon after the session, when it is easiest to act on.

Do you quote a number of photographs?

No. A number tells you very little, since twenty near-identical frames is not more than five distinct ones. Ask what the set will cover instead.

How do we book?

Send us the date and what you have in mind, and you get a clear quote for the coverage you actually need.

One set, or three?

It changes the edit rather than only the packaging, and almost nobody thinks to ask.
