Maternity Photography in Wagholi, Pune

Maternity sessions in Wagholi, with the finished set agreed before the session rather than discovered after it.

Agreed in advance

Most disappointment about photographs is really disappointment about expectations.

Somebody imagined a particular kind of set, nobody described it out loud, and what arrived was perfectly good and not what they had pictured.

That is entirely avoidable and it takes one conversation, which is why we ask what you are hoping for rather than only when and where.

For a maternity session the useful questions are how much of it should be close and quiet, how much should include your partner, and whether anything specific must be in there.

Answered in advance, the session is weighted towards those things rather than balanced generically.

You then receive a selected, edited set rather than every frame, because most of what is taken during any session is variations and near-misses.

The timeline depends on the size of the shoot and is confirmed with you in writing when you book.

It is worth being specific about what you mean when you describe what you want, because vague briefs produce generic sets.

Saying you would like something natural is not much to work with. Saying you want most of it close, quiet and indoors, with a few of the two of you, is a brief.

The second version produces a set weighted the way you imagined it. The first produces a balanced set that may be nobody's idea of what they wanted.

It is also worth saying what you do not want, which people are more reluctant to do and which is equally useful.

Nobody is offended by being told a particular kind of frame is not wanted, and it saves time on the day.

Both of those take a sentence and neither requires knowing anything about photography.

How many photographs will we get?

A selected, edited set rather than every frame taken. Tell us what you want it to contain and the session is weighted towards it.

What if we wanted something specific?

Say so before the session. Almost all disappointment about photographs is really about expectations nobody described out loud.

When will we receive them?

It depends on the size of the shoot and it is confirmed with you in writing when you book.

Which areas do you cover?

Wagholi, Kharadi, Lohegaon, Keshav Nagar, Mundhwa, Viman Nagar and Wadgaon Sheri.

What should I wear?

Bring two or three options, tried on at the size you will be.

Can my partner be included?

Yes. Say so at booking so the time is allowed.

Can we keep it modest?

Yes. Tell us what you are comfortable with.

Can we ask for more of something after delivery?

Yes, and it is a normal request rather than a complaint. Ask soon after the session, when it is easiest to act on.

Do you quote a number of photographs?

No. A number tells you very little, since twenty near-identical frames is not more than five distinct ones. Ask what the set will cover instead.

How do we book?

Send us the date and what you have in mind, and you get a clear quote for the coverage you actually need.
