Not much needs organising, because the people running it know the order. Tell them we will be moving around quietly and that is most of the preparation.
Point out the aunts and grandmothers who are running each function. They are the ones working throughout and the ones least likely to be in the album.
For haldi, tell guests to wear something they do not mind ruining. People who are worrying about their clothes do not take part.

Can you cover all three functions?
Yes, and it is the usual booking. They often run on consecutive days, so we plan them as one block rather than three jobs.
Ours is at home in a small space.

As many as are taking part. Haldi photographs best when the frame is full.

If you want them, yes, and they are often more relaxed than the performance.
How early do you arrive for haldi?
Before it starts, so the preparation and the courtyard are photographed before the mess begins.

That is usually better than a hired space. Tell us roughly how many people and which part of the day each function falls in.
