Work with us
We take on photographers, assistants and editors who care about the craft. If that sounds like you, get in touch.
Who we look for
Eyes Pixel is a small studio, so everyone here works across a range of shoots rather than sitting in one specialism. If you are early in your career and want to learn properly, or you already shoot well and want somewhere to keep getting better, we would like to hear from you.
It is worth reading about the studio and how we work before you apply. We are a small team covering a wide range of shoots, and the day-to-day is closer to that than to a large production outfit.
Roles we take applications for
- Photographers — wedding, newborn, event or commercial experience
- Shoot assistants — lighting, gear handling and on-the-day support
- Photo editors and retouchers — culling, colour and finishing
- Internships — for students and recent graduates in Pune
How to apply
Email your portfolio and a short note about yourself to [email protected], or send us a message on WhatsApp. A link to your work matters far more to us than a formal CV.
We are based in Wadgaon Sheri, Pune. Most roles involve being at the studio and travelling to shoots across the city, so please be Pune-based or planning to be.
Before you apply
Applying to work with us
What we hire for, what to send, and what working at a small studio is actually like.
What roles do you hire for?
Photographers, shoot assistants, photo editors and retouchers, plus internships for students and recent graduates in Pune.
How do I apply?
Email your portfolio and a short note about yourself to [email protected], or send a message on WhatsApp. A link to your work matters far more than a formal CV.
Do I need professional experience to apply?
Not for every role. If you are early in your career and want to learn properly, say so — assisting and editing roles exist partly for that.
Do I need to be based in Pune?
Yes, or planning to be. Most roles involve being at the studio in Wadgaon Sheri and travelling to shoots across the city.
What should my portfolio include?
Your strongest work rather than all of it, and ideally something close to what we shoot. Twenty considered images tell us more than two hundred.
Do you offer internships?
Yes, for students and recent graduates in Pune. Email your work and a note about what you want to learn.
What is it like working at a small studio?
Everyone works across a range of shoots rather than sitting in one specialism, so you see newborn sessions, weddings and commercial work rather than only one of them.
Do you need my own camera equipment?
Tell us what you have when you apply and it can be discussed. It is not the first thing we look at — the work in your portfolio is.
Will I get to shoot, or only assist?
It depends on the role and your experience. Assisting comes first for most people, and it is the fastest way to learn how a shoot actually runs.
How long does it take to hear back?
Replies can be slower during busy shoot weeks. If you have not heard in a couple of weeks, a follow-up message is welcome rather than a nuisance.

A selection of recent photographs. Each one is tagged with the kind of shoot it came from — tell us what you are planning and we will show you the work closest to it.
Photography jobs near you in Pune
The studio is in Wadgaon Sheri, on the first floor, close to Viman Nagar, Kharadi, Kalyani Nagar and Chandan Nagar. Most roles are based here, so being in Pune or planning to be is the one practical requirement.
The shoots take you across the whole city — Koregaon Park, Hadapsar, Magarpatta, Kondhwa, Baner, Aundh, Wakad, Hinjewadi, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Wagholi, Undri and Vishrantwadi — and occasionally out of Pune for weddings and destination work.
If you are searching for a photography job, an assistant role or a photography internship near you in Pune, send your portfolio and a short note about what you want to learn. A link to your work matters far more to us than a formal CV.
